While it is interesting, this forum is probably not the best place to post it.
People are seriously trying to sell vehicles here, and it is not permitted to move your listing thread up in the listings. Neither should their listing thread be forced down by something that isn't even for sale by Class Racer members. I realize that it probably wasn't your intention to interfere with people selling race cars..... but this thread does that. My opinion, and if you differ, you differ. But it is still my opinion. I spoke with Jamie Meyer about this a couple of weeks ago. The sale of the certificate or "transfer" of sale is not allowed. The person on the certificate has to pay for the car and have it picked-up. After that they are free to do what they want with it. A couple of purchasers have been called on this. I was also told that, at that time, no COPO was slated to go to Hollywood.
I would advise that anyone interrested in buying a COPO from a certificate holder should make sure that the original buyer actually has the car! Last edited by GUMP; 03-31-2012 at 08:00 AM. |
