Forgive me but I looked in the NHRA guide to figure out about the 2010 and 2012 CJ Mustangs. The 2010 auto with the 4L blower was bumped from stock, right? Is the 2012 auto with the 4L bumped also? I didn't know the difference in the cars. THe NHRA HP guide says the 2010 is more HP, is that right? Sorry, but I am new to this. Does the 2010 run faster or is it a case of the NHRA not catching up with the 2012 yet? Is the 2012 auto still legal for stock? Thank you for your help.

Rick,
Here's the deal with the 4V motors: All the engines with the 4.0L blower are Superstock only. The engines with the 2.3L Eaton blower have different cam lift and pulley sizes. The 2010 small blower engines were iron blocks also. Hope this helps, Wayne Kerr |

I knew they had some new stock classes and I thought maybe those new classes would accomodate these.

It was a 2010, and it's the 4.6L N/A motor like Charlie Downing runs, similar to the engine that came in the pre-2011 Mustang GTs
