Less work, somewhat cheaper to maintain, no tear downs and younger people running them......more energy.....LOL

For me it's the heads up, pro tree and how close it usually is at the strip. Having all kinds of combinations, yet still have an index that we all need to adhere too. I do run stock at times, but it is more of a hassel when you are at the scales and checking fuel and they are calling Super Gas to the lanes. I don't think cost is as much as a factor, because most of the guy's that are serious about the super class's aren't taking a knife to a gun fight. Not saying lower budget cars can't win, it's just fact that the better your equipment is, the better chances that you don't have mechanical issues and if you do any kind of traveling you don't want to be working on your cars all weekend.

I agree with all the above. Plus your not getting your brains beat in by the new bogus HP cars. That means less stress and less stress means a more fun weekend.....win or loose. After all the stuff I see, hear, lately you guys are leading guys like me to the other side. Im begining to think you all are a lot smarter than the rest of us.

You're starting to see fewer double entry drivers as the economey continues to worsen.
I doubled with SG and Stock for a while, but running my SG car only allows me the time both on and off the track to work on my customers cars.
Of course this year I've broken more parts on the Vette in 3 months than I did in the previous 3 years!!
Doubling is as Terry said for the Young Guns and the touring Pros.
