Warm, humid, and no barometer (28.66) for the test and tune last night. I was looking forward to testing the new CalTracs and Calvert springs and shocks from MoneyMaker Racing. I didn't know what to expect, but it certainly wasn't the car leaving like a schoolbus! We changed spacers this week, from a Super Sucker to an open spacer, and it doesnk( like it AT ALL. Figured I'd put the other spacer back on... So of course I'd left it at home. Bleagh! Still, ran as fast as Richmond.
The first pics (Beard's pit) and 8th (Lee Truell getting more of Bill and Barb Bricker's watermelon on his shirt than in his mouth) are from Richmond last weekend, CalTracs from the middle of the week.

Saturday morning, overcast and intermittent rain has kept temps much cooler, but the barometer remains very low. They've been working on the track constantly, even when it was still sprinkling. They ran golf cart races in the meantime to keep us entertained and lighten up the Tedesco's wallet by a few $50 bills.
Jet dryer's on track now, and it seems the weather is staying just south of us now. Might get this in yet! Bob Lowry was grateful for the delay. The Allison's helped him change a transmission on their lift.

Need the clearance for the throttle linkage over the fuel rails. It's a lot different looking setup than the 350 Chevies.
Philbilly found a 4 hole for me to try... Car didn't budge, so maybe it was just a coincidence. Well, picked the wheels up a smidge, drives a little better, but something's flat not right. Went from blowing the tires off the last couple weeks to hooking with no problem, but not even trying to hit the tires this weekend. Weather's still icky after the rain... 84.5 F, 67%, 28.56 Baro, 4028' DA after Q1 of Super Stock.

Mike, I would guess Mark Nowicki is going to be in Martin next weekend and if you are there you should talk to him. He runs that same combination and is very fast.
