The first round of the Swedish championship is over, some problems were with the track, but it got better and better, they started working on for the arena eight months ago, it is absolutely fantastic. RU Per Fagerstrom to the left, W Tarmo Mikola

Full lenght concrete track, well over 20 000 sitting spectators, still to be completed is asphalt pit for all competitors, racers and marshalls-only showers, etc. Spectators and racers will have several restaurants, etc. to choose from. It is an amazing arena, only in Europe. Within 120miles there is over 4 000 000 possible spectators. Here is a video from the round 1 in S/SS elimination on Sunday morning.
(I had a 0.001 RL in the white Nova in the first round.) |

Thomas - WOW - I had no idea - your arena when finished will be nicer than a great many tracks we have here in the states - it looked like there were no traction issues and for a Stock / SuperStock deal there were at one time more than a dozen photogs snapping pictures . As for the 1st round on You Tube it was nice to see each run from several different angles - how many cameras were filming ? At first I thought there were just a few cars but they went on and on - how many in your Association ? And having several restaurants to choose from will make the wives / kids happy for sure .
PS- That mustard colored paint on the starting line 'gotta go ..............

These guys rock. They are doing what we almost take for granted in countries where parts and skills to do it are almost non existant. Great job! I would love to know what the weather and the D/A was there. Plus does anyone know what motor is in Hakan Nordstrom's cuda? 9.87 @ 134 is a pretty good shot for a "real" car. I need one of those "SSSSA" stickers just to confuse people here
