Do not use rainx, it makes the windshield glare if you do any night racing. Also, your shoe polish will not stick to it. The way I keep my windshield from fogging is to either keep it warm or put a towel over the vents in the car. It's deffinetly a problem, but don't use chemicals, it will take for ever to get the windshield clear again.

Go to a sporting goods store that sells snow skiing equipment. They likely sell a rag that is treated that works on the inside if goggles, Should work on glasses too.
My father in law was an old trucker and he used to keep a block of chew with him and he would wipe the windshield with it and claimed it would not fog. I never tried that.

Most dive shops sell defog for scuba masks. It should also work for glasses. I wear glasses but have not had problems with fogging. I wear an open faced helmet though. Believe it of not your own saliva is an excellent defog. Thats what i use on my scuba mask and it keps my mask clear. Spit on your lenses, rub it around on the lense then rinse and dry. This is an old diver trick. Give it a try!!!
