Class winners Decal check?

I noticed in the dragster I got today. There are listing for contingency for winners of stock classes.
Would someone care to elaborate on this?

There was no pay-out for a class win here in Charlotte. Just a trophy. We were informed as we were getting torn down that they made a mistake in National Dragster.

Maybe this was what bernie posted as something we were going to like?
nhra saved 5 trophies by combing singles, aren't you proud?
