With tears in my eyes I read the Comp + article about the retirement from drag racing of
our favorite soap box drama queen/cry baby Angelle Sampay.How will we carry on without her?I'm drained of all emotion.I can't go on.Boo hoo hoo hoo.

It just goes to show how messed up the NHRA is. Yes, she had to retire, due to lack of sponsorship? But, there are people all over the country with long, long racing carriers who retire, either by choice or not, that do not get the recognition they deserve. It is another dog and pony show. Sad really sad....

She did have a very successful career and proved that the women can also really handle one of those Prostock bikes......That girl surely won a ton of Wallys.....my thoughts on Angelle....
