Moving to a smaller front tire will help with reaction time (less roll out) but how much depends on how hard the car leaves.
Every car reacts differently.

Thanks Rick, I know it will help but I am trying to get " guesstomites " as to how much to help a friend and competitor improve his RT Later J.Smith 4621 racing

I think you mean .015 to .020.

Again it depends on the HP and the weight of the car on actually how much you will get.

Keep in mind 1 inch on the sidewall is not always 1 inch rollout.
Check your tire pressure often.
I personally don't think you will get more than a hundreth.
