Default Dually & Car Hauler Travelers Insurance Needed

Who offers roadside assistance for a dually and for a car trailer? Basically I want to make sure if my truck breaks down when pulling my 28 foot trailer that they will also take my trailer?

Just got off the phone with AAA Southern New England and they will NOT tow the trailer and will NOT cover any vehicle over 4 wheels.

Also called Good Sam Club and they will only tow the trailer and not the truck?

Anyone have any other options?

I have AAA RV-PLUS and they towed my motorhome and car trailer, with separate vehicles of course and it counted for two of your four free tows. It could be different in other states.

Allstate motor club. I have the RV version, 33ft mh w/ 26ft trailer, they towed it all. I've had it for about 5 years now and it's come in handy. The plan will cover all your vehicles, even the daily driver. Won't go w/out it. Under $100 a year. 800-786-2277 customer service.

BTW, they also include a$2000 arrest bond certificate...just in case LOL

SC1317 talked to Allstate and the RV package works for what I'm looking for. Thanks Manny

Hmm that doesn't sound right here in the peoples republic of Massachusetts where everything is illegal. I have had my one ton dually d-350 towed 3 times or so within the last two years via 3A plus. Granted I have been a member for going on 15 years. And I have only had it towed locally, when a 79 lil red express gave up the ghost towing my 78 lil red home in the poconos, I experienced the joy of trailer not included. So that part is 100% correct.

The only question locally they ask is if its used for commercial use(its not), the other drama was that not all the flatbed operators that tow for 3A have chains to tie the truck down anymore(they use the low impact tire strap types which will not work with a manly dually. A geldingmobile minivan sure, but not a dually!

I don't know if 3A RV plus is sold in our state, if it is, I am going to upgrade. Let me know what your findings are.

Good luck.

Eric

I just upgraded to RV Plus to cover my motorhome and any trailer that I'm towing... Not sure how a truck would be..... I know thta on the RV Plus they want to know what length each is or at least a range....
