Default Finish National at the Divisional

DRC says NHRA plans to run the postponed Phoenix National event sportsman racing on Friday of the Division 7 Divisional race.

Wonder how they will handle those who planned to attend the Divisional but did not attend the National.

I hear we will all get a TT on Friday morning.

I think there should be a "clean up" run for those who arrive Friday and do not get two runs (TT plus first round).

That way eveybody would have two runs on Friday.

Will not be too many new arrivals so it should not be a problem.

But - who knows what will happen.

Well I was planning on being a new arrival..I actually hope this is an untrue rumor. We have never raced at Firebird and was hoping for the T&T on Thursday to get some data. Now it is sounding like maybe I wont see or get a pass at the track til maybe Saturday? Hmmmmm, maybe I should just stay home and pass on the Divisional...

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to run the test-n-tune on Thursday. And they might give everybody a time run on Friday morning. I would think they would give the divisional only people an additional time run also.

We'll just have to see what they post on the division 7 website this week.

Well we are on the fence now. I can see the possibility of not getting the D7 race done til Monday as well. Medford and Boise are both closer from up here. Maybe we should just play it safe and skip both AZ races at least the D6 tracks are much closer for me.

I also see the possibility of them running the national cars without any time runs to get the race finished on Friday. If that happens it should be interesting at the top end to say the least.
