150 mph s/st?
Just heard Dave Polichena's 535 cu. inch pontiac came off the dyno. 850 hp and 750 ft.lbs. of torque!!(Good God) Guess the rest of us with little small blocks will have to come up with our own under 140 mph Super Street class. Lets see now, Bart Graham 150+, Ed Wiley 150+, Berkoben 149+, ice cream man from up north 152+, Rollins out west 160+, Keith Fulp 150+(when the engine is happy), and now Dave Polichena. Damn, my stuff is just slow!!!!!!!!!!!
Come on Dave, get your back fixed and let big "Tin Indian" breath. Sorry, had to call Macnicol for politically correct terminolgy. Dad and I look forward to seeing the yellow bird fly. Mike Griggs 10.900 at only 135!! |

Thats OK I still know how to turn around. Unless you drive a little Vega wagon. It must be somthing in that paint job. Oh wait do I still run S/ST? What is this about and who are you people anyways?

Re: 150 mph s/st?
Hey if I'm going to be duck in the pond I might as well have some fun and go fast
I don't know about 150, I'm still 3000 lbs. and it's not like that full chassis ice cream machine, it is still a half back car. Having been in the 140's definitely makes it easier to work the stripe, for me anyways. Back is doing good, I should be ready to go for Reynolds |
