Default My race car & the snow

I planned on working on my race car yesterday. I was going to take the rear apart and it started to snow,
Got sidetracked becasue we recieved 13 inches of snow in Mahopac, NY and then today another 6 inches. Any one else getted bombed with snow while trying to work on their race car, how many inches? The nature of this post must mean I have to much time on my hands during the winter. Already dreaming of my pit space at any drag strip USA.

joe:
we lost power for 3 days, got it back and lost it for another day. Then on Friday we got 12 inches of snow. Today we have already gotten 12 inches and still coming down hard!! no race car to work on. Hell, after shoveling my deck 3 times today, I'm too tired for the hot tub. LOL

Many folks are now on their 8th straight day without power ( so I am not complaining) and then this relentless snow on top.

Heading out tomorrow for the 13 hour drive to Dads (VA) with the family loaded up.

Hope you and your family have a safe & happy holidays,
Dean

Joe, Sunny and 60 degrees today in NC. Worked on the Monza today, getting ready to drop a new bullet in for the new year, Our local tracks just closed last week for the holidays , will reopen weekend of Jan.10-11 as long as its above 45. Just take a ride down I-95 when you are ready to test, you'll have a place to stay. That big block will be fast in the air at Fayetteville motorsports Park this time of year. Merry Christmas !! - Joe

I guess everything is relative, woke this am to 22 degrees, and tonight promises to be another cold one, not in beer. Dean wave as you pass by my exit to Dad's, say hello for me. Can not imagine living in Minnesota.

Adam, my back hurts just thinking about your snow storm, Billy what ever class I pick I am sure it will be the wrong one, looking over Nitro;s stats and it will be time to play peek a boo again.

Joseph my friend, I may take you up on it in Feb/March, how far of ride door to door?

At least we did not lose power, just crossed my fingers.....

Work on Race cars? There's white gold falling from the sky?
Jr. had 32 hours of plowing & sanding in by midnight last night. He got called back out at 7:00am this morning & will be out again till after midnight tonight.
Local news stated that Central Massachusetts got more snow in this 24 hour period than had ever been recorded!
There are members of Central Mass Drag Racers Association in Lunenburg & Rutland that are still without power after 9 days. The utility companies are completely rebuilding the entire system in Northern Worcester County
