Once the smoke clears in the GM-Chrysler scenario, there may be only one car(or none), to oppose the new Ford offering - and IT may have a limited run......hope not. Saw the CJ Mustang at Vegas yesterday.
One industry report speculates as to the Chrysler models that will survive a merger. The Challenger is not among them.

I do not think the merger will ever take place. GM does not have the money and has been trying to get bail-out money from the governent.

if gm does not do it ,mopar will not last on its own more then a year,this is in todays freepress..who knows whats true or not.

jeep is still a valuable asset for Chrysler-someone (Toyota or Daewon or someone) will pay money to get that.
