throttle stop Timer #1
Guy's just wondering when you turn on the first timer for super comp in a car that can run any where between a second and a second and a half under the index. made a lot of changes and really never had a handle on this

Re: throttle stop Timer #1
I've tried several times, including a whole lot of time at .000 in our hardtail. Now we're on the stop at .020 in our four-link car. Feels just about right. Of course, your-mileage-may-vary

Re: throttle stop Timer #1
Not sure of your combination, but my old S/C was capable of running 7.60's off the stop.. when using the stop, it came on at .100, and the car shifted on time at 1.25 into the run.. I didn't want to shorten up the first timer cause I was afraid of it affecting reaction time, but you could try shorter if you have too much time in the box..

Re: throttle stop Timer #1
Well this is the very reason that I'm searching this out. we had very little luck last year with our four link car. reaction time suck bad with .010 in the box. But I'm looking at maybe .100-.250 and shifting at .500. we never ran this car all out since out purchase and never rally knew what it could do. This winter the motor was freshend up and a new bigger cam was selected to maybe get more MPH out of this thing. So we are starting from scratch as you can see.

Re: throttle stop Timer #1
My hardtail ran 7.70's. I had the most consistant luck going on the stop @ .30 & shifting @ .80. I tried it @ .10, and had a little more mph, but "my combination" was more consistant @ .30.
