Wally's Steakhouse
"Pretty soon though, a number of other restaurants – let’s call them Pete and Kyle’s, Jared’s, Franklin’s, Kyle’s – okay so maybe we were supposed to change the names – opened up."

Re: Wally's Steakhouse
Didn't "the bank" just pull back some of Wally's 'loans'?

Re: Wally's Steakhouse
Good article , Johnny.
I don't mean to sound negative here, and not give credit to where it's due, but this is an unusual year . I know a couple of guys who went to the C/R event because they hadn't raced much this year. If there were a full assortment of NHRA events in Div. 1 this year, it's hard to say how well an independent race would do, sandwiched in between them. I believe the lure of the Wally is still very real and still out there.

Re: Wally's Steakhouse
For anyone not familiar with how Wally started his “steakhouse” they really need to tour the museum in Pomona. Not withstanding his differences with two of my heroes (Big and Mad Dog) we all owe him a big debt.
