Re: Station Wagons
Not only have they been big in the S/SS class for years, they are BIG TOO!!
Bobby Bender's Kingswood may be the biggest car in the eliminator!

Re: Station Wagons
Two tons of fun!
Minimum C/SA weight for our Savoy wagon is 3995. It can theoretically run A or B but I just can't get it light enough. There are like six paint jobs on it. It just punishes drive line components. I'm planning on bringing it out to the Mission "House of Hook" Raceway for the Divisional May 25-27. I had a violent rear end failure there a few years back... Re: Station Wagons
hell my old sled tips the scales at 4470... usually 4500 or so sclae weight.... powered by a huge 283 cubic inch, with the only real 283 intake in nhra, and a huge 415cfm 4gc has run in the 13.70's (in 2500ft air)
a real drag wagon, been hitting the 1/4 mile since 1980, made probably 3000+ runs... won a few divisionals, a IHRA race or two and just been a good ol race car.... its not everyone who looks at a 1960 chevy wagon and says... i wanna race that captain jack
