One Night Stand
When you just need to get there, and want safe, no frills overnight parking for an RV & hauler(under 60ft), what are your preferred options? Assuming that the route will be interstates for the most part. I’m looking for suggestions other than Walmart, rest stops etc.
I realize that route details could make your recommendations more valuable - can share by PM if so.

Re: One Night Stand
Wife and I do some extensive RV traveling and while all of my racing involves no overnight stops en route to track there’s a network called “Harvest Hosts” that might be useful to you. You essentially pay a yearly fee which enables you to stay in courtesy parking at museums, orchards, diaries, wineries, etc. that will host overnight stopovers. In our RV trip this summer to PEI and on across Canada to Banff we stayed at about seven different places and all permitted generators and at least five of them could accommodate a 60’ rig. They only ask that you patronize their shops or suggest a modest donation in the case of museums and such. You can google “Harvest Hosts” to get a better idea. Also, we’ve had good success boondocking at Cracker Barrel restaurants but naturally you’ll have need to Google Earth to verify they can handle 60’ rigs.

Re: One Night Stand
My toter and stacker are almost 70'. So I got Truck stops a lot. But if I have a option of anywhere or a Casino with Semi Parking (most have it) I park at the Casino. Tons of security, well lighted. and usually no rif raff to deal with. And no worries about somebody getting into a outside compartment or into the trailer due to all the cameras and security around.
