Default 2026 Indy 75th plans

So after the event this weekend, we saw 56 cars in stock still go 1.00 under, and a dozen super stockers. If the AFHS still applies next year, which I believe is gonna happen, will you still attend?
If you start the year keeping the average down, it will not be a big deal. I guess we will see how many cars will get hp at the end of the year due to this event. For some, the Wally, contigency, and and bragging rights was worth it. Or will some abandon NHRA for IHRA next year?

This year's event was great other than the Hemi Challenge DQs.

If the AHFS is effect next year the NHRA should announce sooner than they did this year.

Me personally would like it better if the AHFS is NOT in effect.

Personally I dont think it made much of a difference. Quite a few were more than a second under. I think only one car ran under the instant trigger. Lots of close runs for the class trophies. The guys that ran fast will run a couple of events and bring their averages down. Everybody has been screaming for more tech and tear down. Looks like that happened at Indy. Only a few DQ's. One Stock and 2 Hemi shoot out cars. Congrats to all the winners and everyone that worked hard to make the field.

I think proper planning when you go with the assumption it is going to happen will be better than waiting to the end and not be able to go because your average is already in jeopardy.
