I'm just happy the Tascas are sticking to their drag racing roots rather than going rounding-round racing. I do believe they helped out Dean Cook III with the mustang he races in stock also.

This may be "getting their feet wet" again for Ford. Cat did a similar deal with the Cat Dealers for several races last year and found it so successful that a full year sponsorship for Rod Fuller was attained. I was happy for Rod and Cat and I am happy for Tasca and Ford. I just wished they used the Ford engine or could somehow get more development with THEIR engine department, something that could trickle down to us racers.

After the way I was treated last year by Ford, when trying the field a V/SA Thunderbird, nothing Ford does will susprise me. After 50 years of racing Fords a simple part number snafu could of allowed me to be racing, but they tossed me to six different people in a big shuffle, hoping I would go away. Well I did! If your not racing a current year model or don't have deep pockets (I'm retired), don't ask them for help! Sorry but I had to vent my frustration with the Blue Oval Crew!
