This past weekend at Tri State Raceway the 12th Annual Midwest Summer Classic at Tri State Raceway Presented by Motion Raceworks, TBM Brakes and Heath Performance drew over 80 Stock/Super Stock competitors vying for the $4,000 to win payday.

Saturday saw Jason Deforrest carry his hot streak from the Lucas Oil Nationals, winning the S/SS Combo and the $4,000 payday over Chris Knudsen, who walked away with $2,000 for his Runner Up finish.

On Sunday, Matt Lund drove to the win and a $4,000 payday, he was victorious over Tanner Weise who pocketed $2,000 for his Runner Up finish.

The next stop on the MCR Schedule is Sept 14th and 15th at Thunder Valley Dragway for the Annual Make a Wish race presented by Selland Trucking and Watertown Ford Chrysler . $3,000 to Win, $1,500 to Runner Up both days.

On Saturday, there will be a 2nd Chance Race sponsored by Midwest Factory Finishes. $1,000 to win, $500 to runner-up and $250 semi finals.
