Question Hood Scoops??

How do you determine the hight that is need over the carb, and the size of the opening. this is for a supermod,with the top of the scoop opening 5 inches of the hood. what type scoop??? this is for a 92 camaro SS/CS

It is interesting.
Also I had Vic Custer provide the scoop for my car & help with locating it over the carb. You might give him a call. Cell 936 552 4470 Shop 936 564 1615 Duane's Cell (son) 936 556 1891 He has a scoop design that works. That is something they do quite a lot of testing on Comp class cars.
