Default NHRA TV Question

Does NHRA TV show every round of sportsman racing at National Events? I can’t get them to answer the question and When at the races it appears that they don’t start early and start tearing down after the pros finals when there are still Sportsman finals to run. I’ve never purchased a race and won’t until I know what they do. Mike McMahan 2543 G/SA

Mike, I have their package, and if I'm not racing, I watch Stock religiously,
followed by S/S, Comp, F/SS, F/X, and Pro Stock. The answer is.... it
depends. Usually they start on time on the first morning, but 20% of the
time they don't. After that the rest of week seems fine. When they run
after the Pros on Sunday night, only once a while back did they sign
off, never happened again. It has got continually better, and you can go back and rewatch a run that you may have had extra interest in. Right
now it seems pretty good. That probably means there are changes
coming.

Agree with JR, it’s definitely improved and I broke down couple of years ago and enrolled. You can get your NHRA membership discount code (25%) by emailing Nancy Wheeler at NancyWh@nhra.com and she’ll send you a code, not sure you can do it for the last two events and it be worthwhile though. I’ve enjoy Stk, Super Stk, Comp plus occasionally follow other classes when I know someone going rounds or frequent contributors like Keith Mayers who I’ve only met once. A surprising bonus for me is seeing the post race sportsman interviews, while you can certainly see people’s true character when things are bad when they are getting that Wally you can tell quite a bit about folks by their reactions.

I could be wrong but I think the NHRA subscriptions are either by race or by year (not season). At least I think you can still just get a race, I could me wrong.

If you get an subscription now I think it is good for a year.

There have been times in the past when the Stock or Superstreet started a little before the broadcast but it has been a while since I remember that happening.

I also seem to remember times when the coverage seemed to have started late but your could "rewind" and see what was missed.

While there are some occasional glitches I still enjoy the product a lot.

You can purchase a single event or weekend pass as I believe they call it. I watch Stock almost exclusively and in most cases every round has been shown that I can recall. Love the ability to rewind.
