I am very grateful that the Live Timing & NHRA TV are up and working today. I am having a problem with the audio volume. I have checked all my settings and turned everything up to full volume but it is still very low on both my computers. Anyone else experiencing the same?

I just logged in and volume seems to be okay for me. PC with Windows 10, Chrome browser.
Bill Edit: I just die a "rewind" to the start of the broadcast and the volume was very low, seems to be fixed now. |

Now listing to Warren announce Top Sportsman Q1 and the volume is perfect, no pops, or in and out low volume. Makes me wonder..... does Warren have his own personal Mic and everyone else has to use a tin can and a string? Asking for a friend.

Sorry, I guess it was just round 1 or something.
It's free on youtube today. Maybe it would work better? Last edited by curtis reed; 05-19-2023 at 01:53 PM. Reason: Clarification |

Curtis,
I'm using 2 computers, a desktop & a laptop, and they were both experiencing the same problems. I took your advice and have YouTube on my laptop & no problem are showing up. The desktop is still giving problems now & then. It's not just my problem because I have talked to two others in other parts of the country that are experiencing the same things. Thank you for your help, Pat |

Hi all -
Sorry I had not checked this topic earlier than now. - Audio - I did make adjustments to the individual mics and overall balance - I use the same mic as the other announcers. We just have different techniques for holding the mic and speaking in to it, which makes a noticeable difference. - Outages today - I was using a pre-programmed piece of gear provided by NHRA that makes it easy to launch the stream to them. Unfortunately, for some reason it was overheating and causing lockups and slow performance. I took it out of the loop and went back to the"old" way of sending the video and it seemed to clear it up for the rest of the afternoon. I do appreciate when you let me know about issues, and try to address them the best I can. Thanks - Warren |
