Happy New Year everyone. We are planning on racing the Baby Gators this year. We were not able to get into the Gators. Is there enough interest in organizing a S/SS combo race at another local track? I would think there would be bunch of cars looking to race somewhere.
Can we get an idea of who would be interested, so we could approach a track with some sort of car count. The race could be run and organized off the Can-Am S/SS rules (ie: random drawings, no heads up, just for fun). Doug Box 3700 A/SA |

Isn't that just a bracket race? I'm sure that you can find one of those.

Yes , but a bracket race for Class cars. Our association rules are no heads up and I think you would find most S S/S associations are no heads up .Its a bunch of people with like minded cars. Isn't a bracket race until you come up against a car in the same class?

I was not able to get into the Gators but my car will be there with Bobby Fazio driving. Doug, Are you planning on staing after the Gators as you will have a choice to run Orlando NMCA or Div 2 race at SGMP?

Hey Brian. We are staying to run SGMP or the NMCA race. I thought with the number of people that didn't get into the Gators, that this might be a good option.
