What's next? Golf carts to the lanes! Gas powered to lanes 1 and 2, electric powered to lanes 3 and 4.

I admit that I didn't see this story on April Fool's Day,but this is just too believable.
A better April Fool's joke would have been NHRA announcing increases in payouts. |

I would assume that passengers could drink alcoholic beverages during the run as long as their seat belt is fastened.
