Sammy Pizzolato Passes
Today we lost a real original Sammy Pizzolato. World Champ 1988 died from complications with Covid 19, along with other problems. He will be missed by all who knew him. More information as it becomes available.

Just heard the news. So very sad. Sammy was always smiling and a pleasure to visit with at the races. May peace be with his family.

Damn I really hate hearing this. Only meet him once but was a pleasure to talk to in lanes at Indy. Kept hoping I could get my car fast enough to give him a race. He will be missed. RIP Sammy.

Very sad news, Sammy has a wealth of racing history to his credit, Great guy, Great racer and general car nut, Allways willing to help anyone at the track. RIP Sammy you will be missed
