I've heard some rumblings about this but can't find any Official announcement , just a story or am I overlooking something?

Hello Joe, no rumblings....you can enter for the SPORTS NOW...go to NHRA event registration site. You can enter for the divisional when d-3 posts it above under NHRA competition....

Thank you, guess I should have worded my question better. Do you HAVE to pre-enter these races, as we never did before? Guess I need to spend more time on here so I can keep up on any changes.

Thanks again, guess I'm a bit behind the times here. They have been having races here in ohio and other than some folks wearing masks the racers are telling me it's pretty much the same as before.

Yes, some of our more CREATIVE Racers were attempting to abuse the new ONLINE entry system. LOL !!!!.........It is a bummer though if you have personal/family issues or towing difficulties that ALL fees are NON REFUNDABLE.....

FYI my brother in law called California this afternoon enquiring about this pre entry subject. The lady he spoke with said he could enter both events as we normally would, no pre entry required. OK so where can I read where NHRA is requiring pre entries to these events? Would just like to see it in print myself.

Joe, they first did the Divisional pre-entry deal for Atlanta and it appeared on FB and other places that it was required (read the pre-entry statement from Atlanta and other events since posted) but I’ve heard some were allowed to enter at the gate. Think the pre-entry was stressed in order for them to have a good idea of how many to expect and figure out pit and lane spacing. If I was making a long tow I think I’d have a verbal commitment from the DD or their designee, just to be safe.
