Default Orlando NHRA Div 2 Winter Warm-Up Photos

Colesy here. I had a great time today at the Orlando race. It's a must see for any drag race fans in Florida. My first time at this track and my first Division 2 race. Southern hospitality is alive and well in Orlando!! Took loads of Stock, Super Stock and Comp Eliminator photos.
First up is Stock round one.
Peter Noriega and Lee Tuttle.

The B/SA Camaro of Mark Lewis and a N/SA 64 Chevelle wagon that I fell in love with. It belongs to Mike McDonald.

Elon Musk and the gang at Space X weren't the only ones launching Rockets this week, how about Keith Bennett's 69 Camaro A/Stock Camaro from just down the road in Lakeland. John Astrab in the Cobra Jet out of Tarpon Springs.

A couple of Mopars in black and white. Jim Nichols 65 Belvedere is a sight to be seen. That's Jim Bailey from Bradenton in the 76 Road Runner. Great looking duo!

Just when you think you've got the "Long Distance Award" wrapped up, someone shows up from Northampton England! ......Jeez Louise! And not only that but he qualifies in the number one spot in the first round of qualifying. It's a 69 Chevy Deuce with a 396 running A/Stock and it's right hand drive!! (just kidding). Great job Daniel Williams! That's one of my favorites on the tower side, the 79 AMC Spirit of Al Wilson out of Crystal River with a 304 V8.

I'm not going to say I had a favorite car at the track today because if the truth were to be told, I had about ten or twelve but this little Valiant was right there at the top of my list and it's not because it's a Canadian car and I'm also from Canuckistan. It just takes me back to the whole Junior Stock 60's. I love it! That's Cade Campolito in the J/SA Chevy Caprice qualifying in the number 5 spot in round one.
