I think jegs makes one that clips on to the cage. You can always make one. BTW they are a lot tougher to use if running after sundown!

I don't use a blunder but have tried it a few times. It will keep you from redlighting if you get get it set up right. You can make them from pretty much anything. I made a couple out of cardboard and Velcro with the Velcro holding it in place at the top of the strip along the windshield. I think they would work best with a 2-step but as Keith said they can be difficult after dark when the top 2 bulbs will "bleed" around your blinder.

Couple of notched aluminum plates, screwed to a cabinet hinge, hose-clamped to an aluminum rod, screwed to the front headliner valance. There are probably better ways, but this was worked for me for a couple of years now, hasn't loosened up or anything.

Find a superstock racer and he can fill you in on Blocking. At the next points race observe the cars in tech and you will see there are many ways to make and mount a blinder. You don’t get good at blocking overnight, sometimes it’s a work in progress. I have only witnessed a few that can block at night. A former SS world champ has told me numerous times that when darkness arrives the best place for a blinder is in the passenger seat.

I have seen a couple guys that incorporated a small 12 volt light mounted behind the blinder they would turn on at night so you didn't see the bleeding of the lights around the blinder. Like M.J. said it takes some time to get yourself and car dialed in but once you do I've seen guys that were deadly using it. I'm pretty much impatient and didn't spend much time with it, may go back and try it again once I start screwing up again!

Do I set it up where I only see the bottom bulb and basically pro tree it with my foot brake or do I need to use my two step that I have mounted on my brake pedal and pro tree it that way. Thanks you guys.

Yes you want to block the top two bulbs but you can either footbrake it or 2-step. I would say using the 2-step would be easier since you're not worried about watching your rpms all you do is mat it.

I don't want to get into this too deep because I never did block the full tree.I never felt the need to.
But what you may want to do is go out to a test session and ask for a short (5 tenths) Pro tree. Bring it up to your normal rpm ,and see if you can cut a low .500 light that way. If you can't, then blocking may not be for you. Carry on...
