Default Is This Legal Now???

With the approval of Chevy angle plug cylinder heads as a replacement to straight plugs , does it mean you can modify and convert your straight plug cylinder heads to angle plug?

Joe, I thought you were going to show the adapters with the little tiny plugs, from about 6-7 years ago. NHRA said uh-UH..no way.
Surely those would be legal now.

Anyone seen the latest accepted SBC heads for S/S? I'm hearing they are bare aluminum castings that are not machined at all. Does that mean the runners and valves can be relocated? If this is true, how did those heads get accepted?

They are bare casting. In the cylinder head world this means no hardware. "Raw casting" is what you are talking about. They are done exactly like all other approved heads on the list. Just smaller ports.

Any know who is casting these heads (Dart, Edelbrock, etc.?) or who owns what they call the box core? And are they legal for any Chevrolet currently running the angle plug head or all Chevrolet engines?
