Based on last year, might be a test 'n tune Friday, but the fun starts Saturday.

They haven't posted the event flyer and daily schedule on the Division 3 website yet, but they should be up there pretty soon.

Brent, the weather for that weekend in Oct. Is a crapshoot at best. We can only hope for highs in the sixties , but that is for late afternoon, the temps are quite a bit cooler in the am when the stockers run. Previous history shows track temps to be quite cool and quite dangerous for some of the Jegs Super Quick entries. It is what it is and will be worth a grade point for you ...Regards, M.J.

Cold temps don't necessarily equal a bad track. Just gotta know how to prep for it. Allen Carpenter at Virginia Motorsports Park learned from Jim Weinert... back in March at our St. Patrick's Classic, we had a bunch of dragsters carrying the front wheels, 60's in the 1.0's, running 4.40's. Good start to finish. Granted, it does take the time, effort, knowledge, and money to do it.

Indy is an awesome track. But when it gets cold it gets tricky.

Cold race track , No Bill Floyd, equals tricky racetrack.

Although the weather can be cool, since they started using VHT traction compound, I have had no problems with traction at the Indy open. In 2011 when Andrew set the D/SA record he went 1.31 in 60'.

Boys, I ain't referring to stockers that can hook in a car wash...but the Jegs Super Quick and an occasional Super Stocker may be in for a wild ride or two. CB's video sure got my attention.
