Today is Mardi Gras. It is worse than a hurricane in Indy. It is wet, it is raining, it is 41 degrees, however the beer is cold, the bar-be-cue pits are blazing, and the first case is done. Now on to another brand. I don't know if you can say crappy here, but that is the only way to describe today. Tomorrow load for Valdosta. I hope the racing gods are more happy than the Mardi Gras gods. But we gonna catch some beads and stuff anyway. I didn't want anyone to worry about us.

Miss being there for Mardi Gras. We'll be there next weekend for a wedding in Thibodaux, probably come a couple of days early to visit around.
I assume Valdosta instead of Houston for the more attractive weather forecast? Looks like the forecast for Houston is deteriorating on an hourly basis.

I can't help but notice the lack of empathy, Jeff.
