Don't know anything about phones, but I use ADBlock for the pc and it works great. Bet there is something similar for phones. https://adblockplus.org/en/firefox
Maybe this would be useful... http://browsers.about.com/od/allaboutwebbrowsers/ss/iphonepopups.htm http://www.pcworld.com/article/24829...obile_ads.html

Same here. Just thought it was my phone. I've closed out the sight (class racer) and even restarted the phone. No difference. Very frustrating.

On the iPhone you can go to 'settings' 'safari' (assuming you're using the default browser) and can select "Block Pop-ups" or depending on the intrusion you may have to go all the way down to 'advanced' under 'safari' and disable JavaScript but it's likely you'll have to turn it back on occasionally to display things you want to see. All this is using the iPhone 5 with IOS 7, older phones/software may vary slightly.
Face it, the 'free' internet isn't free anymore.

I have the IPhone 4S running IOS 7.0.4 - block pop ups on and still having an issue. Not sure if there is a fix CR can do. Only seems to happen to this site. DRC & other sites dont seem to have this issue.

I just started having the same problem on my iphone. I have tried turning the phone off and on but still happening. I'm sure there must be a simple fix but I will be glad to know what it is.

I'm not seeing a problem on my end, but I shut down the google and digital throttle advertising to see if stops the pop ups.
Let me know if you are still having issues. Ken

My iPhone has been doing it last three days. Not just here. Does not do it on Facebook for some reason. I have the pop up blocker on.
