Default Do you race your stocker/super stocker at "regular" races?

I was wondering how many dedicated stock and super stock cars go to a "regular" bracket race, be it a local points night or a big money bracket race. I know I've seen several stockers and super stockers running the "Loose Rocker" races. If not, how many national and divisional races do you run a year?
Just my curious mind at work.

I know of several "Stocker guys" that race brackets with their cars in the Phoenix area. Personally, I would run our stocker at bracket races in the area, but not the Super Stock car....it is all a matter of economics.

I haven't done it yet - but I just moved to the Dallas area. After the Div 4 Points Race next week I plan on checking it out. As best I can tell there are quite a few bracket events all around the Dallas area. I have to admit I don't know too much about the various classes within the bracket racing community - but I'm looking forward to learning. It seems there are no end to the events of which I have no idea what they do - like Fun and Grudge for instance. I guess I'll go and check it out and see where I can compete and have some fun.

Having come from California it's kind of nice to have some tracks to go on a regular basis that aren't closed due to noise, EPA, spotted owls, rare bluegills or seagrass. It will be an education for sure and I'm pretty psyched to give it a try. If anyone has any info to share regarding tracks in the Dallas area and what goes on I would appreciate it.

I always did when I raced. Wednesday night Gamblers, Fri/Sat/Sun bracket programs as well. 2003, when there was the National event at Columbus (my closest one), I stayed home, ran my home track (Quaker City), paid $175 to enter three separate $1,000 to win Footbrake races that Scotty/Edmond Richardson were involved with.

Carl we have 5 sanctioned(3ihra, 2 nhra)tracks within the DFW metroplex alone. Many more within just a couple hour drive outside. Everyone is racing at some point between Thursday-Sunday every week. Today, we have a door car only event at Dallas Raceway($5000/win Box, $2000 to win no-box). Ill be taking the crate motor car to run no box and my super street car to run Box. Let me know any info you'd be interested in knowing. I race every weekend from February-November in the area when not running divisionals/nationals. I am in North Dallas and every track is within a 30-45min drive from my doorstep.

Check out the Thursday and Friday results from the K&N Spring Fling in Las Vegas. Stockers won Pro class both nights (Brad Burton and Ryan Mangus).

I don't bracket race mine, but I run it in some heads up classes outside of NHRA Super Stock.
