R.I.P Frank Jones

My racing buddy Frank Jones passed away a few day's ago. He was one of a kind and will be missed, I'm glad I got to be a part of his adventures in racing for a short time. Horsepower heaven has a little history on him here. http://horsepowerheaven.com/drvblog/

Very sad news. I had the pleasure of driving " The Baron" for a couple years, He was definitely one of a kind! R.I.P. my friend you will be missed.

Frank had been in failing health for the past couple of years. I think another season away from the track was the final stray. Most anyone who knew him would say he was ornery, but to me, we first met in 1968, fell out of touch until about 2003, then picked up like we just saw each other yesterday. A better friend you could never ask for, I know I will never forget him.

I only had the pleasure of knowing him a short time, but he was a good man with much knowledge and history in this sport. RIP Frank, you will be missed.
