The 1970 Olds 4-4-2 455/360 HP in 1970 would run G/S.
The 1970 Olds 4-4-2 455/370 HP in 1970 would run in F/S. Those classes were from 1970/1971. The cars weighed in at around 3675 lbs. In 1970 at Dallas, the 1970 Olds 4-4-2 W-30 ran in F/Stock. And the National Record was 12.01 Last edited by Paul Ceasrine; 02-27-2011 at 03:26 PM. |

thank ,Paul ,so it's impossible to run a stock 455 motor , only with headers and slick with a 442 w-30 ,4 speeds and 3.91 with a spectacuar run at 11.79 ,what do you think about that .

Boss351,
The weight break factors changed over the years. Oldsmobile 4-4-2 as per year 1965,,,,,,B/S 1966,,,,,,C/S 1967,,,,,,B/S 1968,,,,,,D/S 1969,,,,,E/S 1970,,,,,F/S It fell into the 9.50-9.99 wt/hp from 1968 and up. In 1965, 1966, 1967 the class wt/hp was 9.50 - 10.59 Super/Stock 1967,,,SS/E 1968,,,SS/F |
