The article is particularly poignant to those who ran (or who are running) "off beat" combinations and had to think creatively to be competitive. (Like my old Nova, Billy's Nova, Bob's old Vega ...)

reminds me of my teenage years helping my older friend with his 53 ford customline, we swapped in a 401 buick into it,that car surprised alot of people on livingston ave back in the day
