I bought one of them $6 cheapie oil change containers from O'Reilly and bring it with me. It holds 10 qts or so and can be sealed. I just haul it home, put the oil in my used oil containers, and it is recycled. Worked so well, I brought one to my fish camp to haul the used cooking oil from a few sessions with fresh Redfish to the aforementioned container. And yall thought I wasn't a green guy. It really is cheap and easy. At the track I can dump it in the proper container. I'm sure everyone has hauled an open pan of oil to the container at the track, only to dump it all over your cart/scooter/feet/etc.

It would probably be the only oil out there. They seem to have lost it.

Looking back at history, a bunch has washed up on Grand Isle ever since the state built a bridge in the 30's. There were enough tankers sunk in the gulf close to shore in 1942 to still be leaking. Now they found some plume @ some unGodly depth. I think the whole deal is being handled by used car people and drag racers. Maybe I should restate that. By fine upstanding intelligent concerned citizens.
