I am sure there will be more on this, but the winner on saturday was Don Pires, over Arnie Martel Jr. and sunday was Joe Santangelo over Dusty Lowell. Congrats to all. We had 67 cars on saturday and 62 on sunday. A great showing with great weather. See you all next week at the valley. Gary

You guys said it all, what a weekend it was. Mother nature blessed us with perfect racing weather, the turnout was better than expected, everybody was a few pounds heavier after the cookout and of coarse the racing was as good as it gets.
The masters of New England Dragway rose to the top again with D.J. Pires getting it done on Saturday over Arnie Martel Jr. and the red hot Joe Santangelo taking down the local hot shoe, with the #5 on his window, Dusty Lowell. Bob Broadbent saw the semifinals both days along with Tony Fillipone on Sunday. We have video, if anybody is interested see me this weekend and I'll hook you up. We're going to do it again this Sunday Aug. 8 at Lebanon Valley. Congrats to all our winners and Ru's and thanks to everybody who contributed to our cookout and for participating this past weekend. See you next weekend, George |

Correction on the Saturday race, Bob Broadbent lost in the 5th round giving the semifinal bye to Arnie Martel. Tom Boucher was the lone semifinalist, losing to D.J. the eventual winner.
Great job everyone on 7 tough rounds of racing. Sunday was tough on cars, hope all can get repaired for next week. Working up the points, should be very interesting. George |
