Randy Folk - 1978

Randy Folk has been one of the winningest drivers in bracket racing and more recently in Top Dragster over the last 30 years. Here's a photo I took of the staging lanes at Byron Dragway in 1978. This was first round of the annual "Bracket Nationals". The white Vega in the fourth row is Randy Folk. The Vega had a small block Chevy with a four-speed trans. Two years later in 1980, Randy stopped in Chattanooga, Tennessee on his way to Bradenton, Florida and raced at my local track. If anyone knows Randy, pass this photo along to him. He might get a kick out of it.
