Re: footbrake national,s
by nd2race » Tue Feb 10, 2009 7:13 pm Attn: All racers that are planning on attending the "1st EVER" Twin 10's Footbrake Nationals at CPD should pay close attention to this post. We have 20 days left before we reach the deadline for all pre-entries to be mailed in and processed. We are at the crossroads of making the biggest race ever to be held at CPD and you racers hold the fate in your hands. I appreciate all the support from the guys and gals that have already put their faith in this race that have mailed their money. Now we need the support of all the racers that have personally told me what a great idea this race is and we will have no problem making our 150 entry requirement by the deadline. I have traveled to KDS, the Greensboro Expo, back to KDS, and almost daily have been calling, e-mailing, and posting on forums to get the word out promoting this huge opportunity for the footbrake racers. Step up and make it happen guys, I have faith we can make this race a reality, but its now or never. A lot of racers think they can show up at the gate and pay to run for the 10,000. This race, as the flyer states, requires 150 pre-entries to be held. As of last week I had verbal, e-mail committments from close to 100 racers, but the monies have to be sent in or the whole idea is a moot point. This race can be the start of a big money tradition if we make it happen. I will promote other races maybe later in the year if we can get this first one under our belt. As for the top et racers that are on the fence about racing an event like this I need your support also. I am looking forward to receiving the rest of our entries to put this race on and hope to see ya soon. Thanks Anthony Walton.......P.S. remember 150 entries by Mar. 2nd to make this race a reality, help me make one of you $10,000 richer.
