My opinion... This won't be good for racing!

Sure I like seeing New cars and New sponsors, but the fuel guys (and all racers for that matter)
can't keep up with the high costs of racing now. All this $11 million will do is drive out more low buck operations, and shorten the car counts some more.

On another forum site they we're talking about Doug Foley T/F trying to secure $2.5 million to go racing next year... that's a damn long stretch to $11 mill.

The truth is that is Gary hit it right in the spot with the title. I deal with the Middle East every week in my job. They are not shy in spending their money. Auto racing, and specially drag racing, is growing in the Middle East. As a matter of fact, they just opened a new dragstrip in the Emirates that puts to shame many of our tracks in the USA.
