On behalf of the racers who enjoyed a cool, pleasant weekend with you and the So-Cal Mopar Shootout crew in Fontana, I'd like to thank you for your efforts on our behalf. It was great seeing you again and it was good to know that someone with a little clout was watching out for the welfare of the Stock/SS racers. The conditions couldn't have been better and there were plenty of hits available for those who wanted to have a good time and race with friends.

The listed companies who specifically supported the Combo portion of the show, Mazzolini Racing and D and B Engineering as well as the sponsors of the Hemi Shootout (West Coast Hemis, PMR Race Cars, Lamb Components and Hansen Race Cars) should be recognized for their willingness to step forward on behalf of Class Racing.

In the face of the continuing slide of the national economy and $5.25 diesel fuel, events such as Stock/Super Stock combos may be our best hope of maintaining Class Racing as a viable activity in the West. We appreciated the efforts of the entire So-Cal Shootout crowd.
