Default Chapel Hill NC Area Help Needed

I have a family member in Chapel Hill N.C. that needs help with his car. 2000(?) Saab 93 turbo that needs a new motor. From the description, spun bearing or crank failure. Anyone know of a trustworthy and reasonable service center who can help? Or anyone here who can do the work? He's a college kid with no automotive knowledge and doesn't have much $$.

My in-laws know nothing about class racing, let alone drag racing, and don't understand why I'm involved with this sport. If I put them in touch and provide assistance through this forum it will change their way of thinking, making ALL OF US look good. In fact, might gain their appreciation of what I "waste" my money on, and gain us some new fans (hell, we need all the support we can get, right?) .

Would really appreciate any assistance or direction offered.

A Saab and not much money is not a good combination...lol...Call Jeff Bordeaux at John's Automotive in Durham(very close to Duke University) at 919-489-1583. He is very good with all makes and runs Super Stock with IHRA.

Uhm, let me re-word this....If I put them in touch and provide assistance through this forum with POSITIVE results, it will change their way of thinking (contrary to jack-ramming and grease-jobs which don't require friends or assistance )

Regardless I appreciate the leads. You guys are the best!!
