Thank You for the Tech Inspection presence at Indy!
It almost felt like the good-old-days when Tech had to be taken seriously. Thank You also for the "Young Bucks" that (I'm sure) were getting plenty of OTJ training from the "Old Poops" who were on hand! I just hope that the presence continues. OBTW, could you get those guys some tools? I'm sure if you asked them, they could give you a list of what they need.

Definitely yes to what ever tools are needed. But they need to make sure somebody capable buys them.
I remember years back where no doubt a lot of money was spent to make a set of precise plug gauges for carb bores. But somebody decided to black anodize them. There was mayhem at a track that didn't have a barn for teardown. The gauges were sitting all day in direct sunlight on a hot day. |
