UPDATE
Called Them and they said they are using the same ratings BUT they are using indexes 3 tenths slower HOWEVER - When i look on their web site the listed indexes are the same as NHRA ? So i dont know Anyone know where to find HP ratings for IHRA, or are they just going by the NHRA numbers ? I have a 73 Nova with a 307 that is factored with NHRA to the point im not spending a dime on it with that combo. I was wondering if IHRA may have a realistic HP rating for it so that I could actually race the car Last edited by RileyRacingEntrprises; Yesterday at 02:38 PM. |

One more time ?
I?ve never asked this. In fact I never even inquired about it until today - lol. To add more mystery to the equation at the last race the indexes were 6 tenths slower A/SA was 11.60 E/SA was 12.30 J/SA was 13.05 Those were the only ones I could figure out from the live stream angles during Q4. |

Zac and the Ross's was told this morning that the double car thing is not going to be allowed at National Events. 2)They are using the old indexes from NHRA. Back before they changed them. IHRA was this way before they disbanded Class racing a few years ago. Nothing new here, it's the way they do it. So just add .3 to everything from NHRA. NHRA 10.40 flat index, IHRA 10.70 3)No, the first crack at it they had a couple indexes wrong and Andy Kronenbitter and myself went up in the tower to get it corrected. IHRA uses NHRA indexes and adds .3 to them. They had some with IHRA, some with NHRA indexes. They were super tankful we told them and appreciated the help. __________________ Jeff Niceswanger 3740 SS __________________ Jeff Niceswanger 3740 SS
