Earning Divisional points

With losing Denver, Great Bend and Topeka my closest Division 5 race will be a 14hr tow one way. My closest tracks now, for a divisional races, are Boise and Vegas. Can I earn D5 points with out running a Division 5 race?

You would need to run at least 3 D5 races to earn D5 points….With a double at Wildhorse, a double AND a single at Vegas, you might consider calling D7 your home division ….

Yes any NHRA division race can get you points. You can claim up to 2 out of division races in your claim of best 5 out of 8 for Division Championship.
