Southeast Gassers on Discovery Channel

Just wanted to let everyone know tomorrow night 2/27/19 at 10 pm eastern time The Southeast Gassers will be on Discovery Channel right after Moonshiners.The show will feature moonshiner Josh and the rest of the stars of The Southeast Gasser association Check it out if you don't know about The Southeast Gassers you will be amazed!

Thanks for posting this, since most of us on this forum clearly identify the Gassers as an important part of our heritage. A month back I sold a set of W5 headers to a guy from Charleston building a Barracuda to compete and he described how much fun the series is and I've marked a couple of tentative dates on my calendar to hopefully go see them in person. There are YouTube videos out there that feature the Southeast Gassers as well.

That was embarrassing to watch-a cross between the Beverly Hillbillies and Deliverance. Ticked off every negative stereotype that the general public has about drag racing. I was hoping to see some classic Gasser racing not who could make the most erratic run before they hit the wall.

IMO ...I don't see how the Discovery Channel gets a lot of viewership airing shows like they do........but Josh Owens made the connection between "Moonshiners" and the SEGA.

"The Networks" sure do have some crazy ideas as to what people want to see! This as part of a series 'Moonshiners' who are on 'film' doing an illegal act and "hiding" from the Revenuers. Gotta luv "reality" TV.........

Personally , I would have ZERO interest in anything on that Network from what I can tell.........LOL
