Default What is the best way to prep a drag strip
ok a new thread to all. What is the best way to prep a drag strip when the track is hot and when it is cold ? Just curious

Back in the day we didn't need any prep because we ran Caslers

Traction compound--but the best is when the track is built-10 foot down slow grade for the last 300 feet

I ran the starting line for a little over a year @ my home track. That said I didn't really learn any temp prep. Just the usual scrape prior to event, spray & drag. But what was a little different @ the time was that when we started to get bald spots, @ the break, spray, pat with rosin & spray over that. After a little while of running on that the line was nice & even.
